In my last blog, I was trying to express surprise that someone actually read what I had to say. I mentioned that "some guy from Santa Cruz" had been commenting, but I was surprised to know that regular fans from the area also participate. Well that "some guy" is actually someone very special - a very old friend of Mike's and a very good musician to boot. "Some guy" and I have never met, but I've always appreciated his interest in the Thugz from afar. His real name is Tom Dilbeck, and we're hoping he might be able to come north for the Dylan show in June and for a gig with us this summer. He's thinking about adding his saxophone to Mike's trumpet along with another pal on trombone - a bona fide horn section. When he gets here, I'll apologize profusely - no Thugz fan is just "some guy" - ever.
