We rendezvoused at the Graton Community Center last Saturday evening for a "Stay Strong" concert. Orion Strong couldn't be there, but his family, friends, and well-wishers all came out. Stephanie sang a beautiful set to start the show, and Mike joined her to complete the acoustic segment. Their vocal blend is fantastic, and their duo act is not to be missed. Later the Thugz 4-piece took the stage (Andre was away). We had a great time playing because the Community Center has wonderful acoustics, and, of course, our Drew was there to manage the sound board. It was a bittersweet event. There were smiles everywhere and a positive vibe in the air, but we all felt deeply concerned for Orion and his brave battle with cancer. The Thugz hope our music helped folks dance and affirm life.
