Here's what I know for sure: the Thugz can do an acoustic gig with style and grace! We had a great time at Cotati's Redwood Cafe last night. Actually I think I had the best time since I played the Cafe's acoustic piano all night. All the Thugz were there - Mike, Chris, Andre, Bradley, Drew and Stephanie - what a great bunch. Mike "produced" the evening's format, and we even had a song list. Stephanie's opening set was fantastic. Then we got to do some of our original tunes that will soon become part of a new CD, but we also did some tunes from that "other band" since there were several Dead Heads in the crowd. Since this is Thanksgiving week, I want to say once again how grateful I am for the Thugz - kind, talented, conscious, warm, wonderful Thugz - my band mates and my friends - so much to be thankful for.
