Thugz faithful fans plus many new believers turned out for Andre's celebration at the Redwood Cafe on Saturday evening. Mike asked Andre to put together a set list for the occasion, and he chose some great tunes. Stephanie was on board for the night and added her unique magic on "NSWB," "Cream Puff War," "Don't Think Twice," and "Things Have Changed." She also does a fantastic job with Mike on "Scarlet/Fire." It was another gig where Mike took off on outstanding trumpet solos and driving guitar riffs. The crowd was really responsive, so everyone put 200% of their effort into making good music. We were all ready to kick back when the night was over, but we did pull off a quick encore to meet the demands. Andre does such a good job on "Don't Ease Me In" that it was the obvious encore selection. It was a long drive home for me, but I had plenty of time to contemplate the Question-of-the-day. That would be, of course, what in the world will I do for a costume when we play for the big Halloween party at the Backyard Restaurant on the 31st?? There's a lot going on that night around the area, but we hope to see our tribal family drop by for a frolic. Take care. Love, Sylvia
