Extreme Halloween

'Tis the Season of the witch, for sure. Musical  Halloween celebrations are exploding all over west county. We did our part Saturday night at the River Theater with Dgiin. We got there really early for a load-in and sound check, so it was a long haul. Dgiin started the night with their driving rhythms and international flair. The joint was jumpin' - with all sorts of weird costumed folks. We began after 11 - then proceeded to do some Halloween favorites: Haunted House, Purple People Eater and, of course, the Monster Mash. Everyone was in the mood to party - especially since the Giants had just won game #3. As of last night, the Giants pulled off game #4 to end the series - a glorious sweep. All the Thugz feel like we're linked to the team somehow ever since we played at AT&T Park for their Grateful Dead night. Now we can  settle down and focus on our music. We had fun at the River Theater, and Jerry was a gracious host.  He will be bringing in the JGB Band on Halloween night, so musical energy will keep pumping along the river. Now the big concern is the monster storm on the east coast.  This has really been a season to remember. Our thanks go out to all our friends who came out on Saturday night . We usually don't play so late, but our fans stuck with us - all the way to a rousing "Sugar Magnolia."

Take care. Love, Sylvia
