Just picture Lagunitas Brewery's "Beer Sanctuary" full of nice folks, Thugz fans, earnest Humane Society staffers, and cute, cute pooches! The dogs were so well behaved - no canine squabbles or inappropriate vocalizing. We played our tunes and did our best to create a festive atmosphere. Then we stepped aside for the big raffle and had a chance to enjoy a delicious vegan feast provided by Seed Co. caterers. It was our pleasure to help out Sonoma Humane Society. The good feelings lingered as I drove home along the coast. It was an unusually warm evening with a clear nighttime sky. What a vista! Full moon blasting away with Venus shining bright - and perfectly lined up Jupiter right behind her. From dog energy to astronomical energetic power - wow. I came home to find all kinds of critters cavorting in the moonlight. To celebrate the evening, I offered a big, beautiful fox a bit of kitty kibble then stepped back to watch him crunch with delight. It was a nice way to end the hot, hectic day. Next stop for the THUGZ - this evening, Thursday, 7/1, a community concert in the Guerneville town square. It should be lots of fun! Take care. Love, Sylvia
